Crasolum backs Matterless
Boutique Singaporean investment firm Crasolum has thrown their weight behind Matterless’ ambition to create virtual animal companions for the metaverse. Along with investors like Outlier Ventures, Kenetic Capital, and Cadenza, Crasolum is betting on the future of the internet and the metaverse being a less lonely place.
“Matterless opens up a whole new chapter in the exploration of parasocial relationships amidst the rising trend of human-AI interactions,” commented Ada Tie of Crasolum. “Digital companions will be an essential part of our life and augmented reality will make this experience as seamless and enjoyable as we can imagine,” she continued.
Following a successful seed round earlier this year, Matterless has deepened its ties and collaboration with the greater metaverse ecosystem through a string of partnerships. With several million dollars already committed towards the ambitious vision of the Matterless project, the team and community are growing steadily.
A first beta version of the virtual animal companions is set to be released in Q1 of 2022.
